Our tiny home is not your typical guest house rental! It is a small space in a very quiet, family-oriented rural neighbourhood. Our neighbours are some of our best friends and respecting the space is a must. Read more CRVBasecamp is a space to hang your hat at night while escaping to the mountains during the day. It's not a great space for more than a couple people to enjoy. As this is a rural neighborhood, expect to experience movement starting relatively early in the morning. Generally this doesn't happen much before 9am, but often lawns get mowed, engines get mechanic'd, and vehicles get started. We are extremely thankful that our neighbors are accepting of a vacation rental that invites traveling folks into the neighborhood and as such, we don't make any waves about early morning noise. It's a tradeoff that we're willing to make and something you need to know prior to booking. Perfect if you're planning on being up somewhat early to head out adventuring anyway. 2. There is a composting toilet. This is probably the most important part of your stay! It’s also something that is not at all common and you might have to adjust your thinking a bit in order to get comfortable with it. Really, it’s kinda like glamping! That said... Comfortably accommodates 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. CRVBasecamp is a tiny home that is perfect for people who plan on using the space as a launch pad while experiencing the best of the Chilliwack River Valley. Custom built by Vancouver craftsmen, our tiny house gives a nod to minimalistic living, yet with all the comforts needed to truly enjoy your stay. The space is very much entrenched in the sharing economy - the tiny house is in the back out behind the main house and the yard is shared. You have a separate-entrance, private cabin all to yourself + a large backyard & firepit for you to enjoy.
